In this tips and tricks video I show you how to set up multiple outputs on a single track. This can be done on Audio or MIDI tracks using the External Audio Effects. Thanks to Live’s Racking system we can use multiple External Audio Effects on one Track with individual controls for Volume, Pan, Mute and solo. Plus the ability to add any effect right before we send it out (simply add an effect right before the External Audio Effect on each chain).

It can be useful when you are recording or performing with a Live band and the players need you to send them a click or backing tracks.

While you might already have a large Live set the added Audio tracks for the band members might make your Live Set less manageable.

Another scenario would be if you need to send the same audio to multiple speakers like for sound installations.
