Future Chords - One Note Chord Set For Future Bass

For this week’s Ableton Rack I give you another tool to help you compose complex chord progressions with ease.

This rack is a MIDI effect rack that can be used with any sound. Each note of the keyboard gives you a different chord.

First, load your favorite synth/sampler then throw the Future Chords rack before it. Start playing notes on your keyboard, In no time you will come up with beautiful progressions.

You can add more elements on top of the chords using C major or F major scales.

If you want to transpose the entire rack to a different key place the Pitch MIDI effect before it.

Macros

Add 7th (Velocity) – How loud is the 7th interval for each chord

Add 9th (Velocity) – How loud is the 9th interval for each chord

Installation

1. Double click on the downloaded file to open it up in Ableton Live

2. Click on the Save button at the top right corner of the device to save to your User Library

**You need Ableton Suite 9.6.1 or above for this rack to work

I can’t get this to load into Ableton 10 Suite. I double clicked it to install but nothing happens. And it’s not listed in my Midi Effects folder even after rescaning plugins. Anyone help? Thanks!
