This week’s Free Rack Wednesday is pretty simple but incredibly useful.
It’s a 3 chain rack that splits your frequencies into three bands. High, Mid & Low. This gives you full control over the sound and best of all the ability to add audio effects to only certain bands of frequencies which can create new and unique textures for your sounds.
The rack is based on Multi-Band Dynamics audio effect where each chain have only one band soloed.
I’ve also added a high stereo expender to emphasis the high frequencies stereo information. As well as light overdrive on the mid.
You can then take any effect and apply it to only one band of frequencies.
If you experiment with putting the effect in front of the multi-band dynamics or after for different sonic results.
Installation
1. Double click on the downloaded file to open it up in Ableton Live
2. Click on the Save button at the top right corner of the device

Hi Guys. I found this Video where you can create a multiband splitter with eq8 and with fabfilter promb as well but with perfect quality and with no any interference between bands at all!
Im very excited about this and I think it’s very awesome to not sharing this technique with others,
so that why i post it!
He also assign every crossover to every knob of the midi controller in order to have all of the bands quickly tweak-able!!
